Three boxes of capacity 24kg, 36kg and 84 kg are completely filled with three varieties of wheat A, B and C resp. All the three boxes were emptied and three types of wheat were thoroughly mixed and the mixture was put back in the three boxes. How many kg of type A wheat would be there in the third box (in kg)?

In the mixture ratio of A : B : C is given as

⇒ 24 : 36 : 84

⇒ 2 : 3 : 7

Type A wheat in C can be founded as

⇒ \(\frac{2 × 84}{2 + 3 + 7}\)

⇒ 14

∴ 14 kg of wheat A is there in Box C
