Total work = No.of person × Time ATQ, ⇒ 16W × 12 = 12M × 8 ⇒ 2W = 1M ⇒ Efficiency Ratio = M : W = 2 : 1 According to 1st condition, Total work = (16 × 1) × 12 = 192 Now, Work done by 16 men in 3 days = (16 × 2) × 3 = 96 Remaining work = 192 - 96 = 96 After 3 days work is to finished by : 6 men and 4 women with the efficiency = (6 × 2) + (4 × 1) = 16 So time to finish the remaining work = \(\frac{96}{16}\) = 6 days |
