We have,

The diameter of the base = 14 m

Slant height = 9 m

The width of the cloth = 2m

Let the length of the cloth = x meter.

Area of cloth = x × 2 = 2x m²

Radius of tent = \(\frac{14}{7}\)  = 7 m

Curved surface area of cloth = \(\frac{22}{7}\) × 7 × 9 = 198 m² 

Now,

2x = 198

= x = 99 m
