The monthly incomes of A and B are ₹12000 and ₹8000 respectively. The ratio of their monthly expenditures is 5 : 3. If they save equal amount per month, then how much money does each of them save per month?

Ratio of expenditure = 5 : 3

Savings of A and B = 12000 - 5x, 8000 - 3x

According to the question, 

12000 - 5x = 8000 - 3x

           2x  =  4000        

            x   =  2000

Savings each A and B = 12000 - 5x = 12000 - 10000 = ₹2000
