A, B and C started a business by investing ₹40,000, ₹50,000 and ₹60,000 respectively. After 8 months B withdrew 10,000. After one more month C withdrew ₹40,000. Find the ratio in which profit earned at the end of the year will be distributed.

Here to find the profit ratio, use the formula:

(Profit Ratio = Investment × Time)

A = (40000 × 12) = 480000

B = (50000 × 8) + (40000 × 4) = 400000 + 160000 = 560000

C = (60000 × 9) + (20000 × 3) = 540000 + 60000 = 600000 

The ratio of their profit = 480000 : 560000 : 600000 = 48 : 56 : 60 = 12 : 14 : 15
