In which one of the following States, Bailadila iron mine is located?
Answer & explanation
Correct answer: option 1
The correct answer is Option (1) → Chhattisgarh
Bailadila lies in the iron ore belt that runs from Jharkhand to Durg, Dantewara and Bailadila.
Note 1: The book does not say in clear words that Bailadila is in Chhattisgarh. It places Bailadila in one iron ore belt with Durg, and it gives Durg as a district of Chhattisgarh. The map of ferrous minerals also marks the Bailadila iron ore mine in the same iron ore area as Durg.
Note 2: A similar question was also asked in CUET (UG) 2026 on 24-05-2026 (Slot 2).
