Case: Read the passage and answer the following questions Kirchhoff's first law applies to currents at a junction in a circuit. It states that at a junction in an electrical circuit, the sum of currents flowing into the junction is equal to the sum of currents flowing out of the junction. Kirchhoff's second law, also known as Kirchhoff's voltage law states that the sum of all voltages around a closed loop in any circuit must be equal to zero. This again is a consequence of charge conservation and also conservation of energy. Wheatstone bridge, also known as the resistance bridge, calculates the unknown resistance by balancing two legs of the bridge circuit working on Kirchhoff's law. |
In Wheatstone Bridge, the known and unknown resistors are interchanged to avoid; |

End error can be removed by repeating the experiment by interchanging unknown and known resistance and finally taking the mean value of resistance obtained in each experiment. |
