If HCF and LCM of two numbers is 8 and 48 respectively, and the the ratio of two numbers is 2 : 3.

In this type of questions we can directly say that=

First number = 8 × 2 = 16

Second number = 8 × 3 = 24

So the larger of the two numbers is = 24
