(A) Entamoeba histolytica (III) Amoebiasis
(B) Wuchereria bancrofti (I) Filariasis
(C) Microsporum (IV) Ringworm
(D) Plasmodium falciparum (II) Malaria

Amoebiasis is caused by the protozoan Entamoeba histolytica and the infection spreads through the release of cysts in the fecal matter.

Elephantiasis or filariasis is a disease caused by the helminth worm, Wuchereria bancrofti. The worms invade and live for many years in the lymphatic vessels of the limbs, leading to chronic inflammation and swelling of the limbs. The genital organs might also be infected, resulting in major deformities.

The fungi belonging to the genera Trichophyton, Microsporum, and Epidermophyton cause an infection called ringworm. Dry scaly lesions are a common symptom of this fungal infection.

Plasmodium falciparum is a malaria parasite associated with severe cases of malaria. Malaria is a parasitic disease that involves high fevers, shaking chills, flu-like symptoms, and anemia. In malaria, the product released by mosquito into the blood that causes chill and fever is called Haemozoin. Haemozoin is formed from the digestion of blood by some blood-feeding parasites. Malarial parasite after entering the blood ruptures red blood cells and releases a toxin called hemozoin.
