M = 8x                              and                 N = 6x

x = \(\frac{M}{8}\)                                x =  \(\frac{N}{6}\)

On comparing ,

\(\frac{M}{8}\)  =   \(\frac{N}{6}\)

3M = 4N

                           4         :           3
