Explanation:

Total distance traveled by train = Length of train + length of platform = 900 +700 = 1600 m

Time = 1 min = 60 sec

Speed of train = \(\frac{distance}{time}\) = \(\frac{1600}{60}\) = \(\frac{80}{3}\) m/sec

Speed of train = \(\frac{80}{3}\) × \(\frac{18}{5}\) km/hr  = 96 km/hr
