Question:

The length of a cuboid is six times of its breadth, and the height of cuboid is four times of its breadth. If the breadth of the cuboid is 3cm, then what is the total surface area of the cuboid?

Options:

484 cm²

612 cm²

576 cm²

676 cm²

Correct Answer:

612 cm²

Explanation:

Given, length = 6 x breadth

height = 4 x breadth and breadth = 3 cm

Thus, length = 18 cm, height = 12 cm

Total surface area = 2(lb + bh +lh)

                           = 2(18x3 + 3x12 + 18x12)

                           = 2(54 + 36 + 216)

                           =   612 cm²
