Question:

From a well shuffled pack of 52 cards, three cards are drawn one by one. The probability that the three cards are Jack, Queen and King respectively?

Options:

$\frac{11}{1105}$

$\frac{16}{5525}$

$\frac{27}{2197}$

$\frac{27}{305}$

Correct Answer:

$\frac{16}{5525}$

Explanation:

No. of ways of drawing a king, a Queen and a jack = 4 × 4 × 4 = 64

and total no. of ways of drawing 3 cards =52C3

= (52×51×50)/(3×2×1) = 22100

So the required probability =64/22100  =16/5525
