A shopkeeper had some bulbs. He sold 57\(\frac{1}{7}\)% bulbs and still has 189 bulbs. Find the total number of bulbs initially. |

57 \(\frac{1}{7}\)% = \(\frac{4}{7}\) Total bulbs = 7R, then sold = 4R Hence, remaining bulbs = 7R - 4R = 3R ATQ, 3R = 189 1R = 63 Therefore, total number of bulbs initially = 7R = 7 × 63 = 441 |
