⇒ tan230° + cot260° + sec260°  + x = 5

⇒ (\(\frac{1}{\sqrt {3}}\))2 + (\(\frac{1}{\sqrt {3}}\))2 + (2)2 + x = 5

⇒ \(\frac{2}{3}\)+ 4 + x = 5

⇒ x = 1 - \(\frac{2}{3}\) =  \(\frac{1}{3}\)
