For a mirror $\frac{1}{u}+\frac{1}{v}=\frac{1}{f}$ let $y = \frac{1}{v}, x = \frac{1}{u}$ $∴ x + y = \frac{1}{f}, y = – x + 1/f$ This is the equation of a straight line with slope = (–1) and intercept =$\frac{1}{f}$ Hence the graph would be
