According to the question, salary of A : B = 4 : 3 ⇒ Expenditure = \(\frac{5}{12}\) : \(\frac{7}{15}\) ⇒ 4x × \(\frac{5}{12}\) - 3x × \(\frac{5}{12}\) ⇒ \(\frac{5x}{3}\) - \(\frac{7x}{5}\) = Rs. 4500, ⇒ \(\frac{25x - 21x}{15}\) = 4500, ⇒ 4x = 67,500 ⇒ x = Rs. 16875 ⇒ Salary of B = 3 x 16,875 = Rs. 50,625 |
