Explanation:

Distance = speed × time

Time 1 = \(\frac{12}{16}\)

Time 2 = \(\frac{6}{20}\)

Total time = \(\frac{12}{16}\) + \(\frac{6}{20}\)

= \(\frac{84}{80}\) km/h

Total Distance = 12 + 6 = 18 km

Average Speed = \(\frac{18 × 80}{84}\)

= 17\(\frac{1}{7}\) km/h
