Which of the following statement is NOT correct?

I. The total production of truck by all the 5 companies is 201. 50 percent of the total production of bike by all the 5 companies.

II. The average production of bike and truck by companies R is 800.

Options:

Only l

Both l and ll

Only ll

Neither l not ll

Correct Answer:

Only l

Explanation:

I. The total production of truck by all the 5 companies is 201. 50 percent of the total production of bike by all the 5 companies.

Total truck by all the companies = 700 + 500 + 400 + 450 + 500 = 2550

Total bikes of all the companies = 900 + 650 + 700 + 800 + 850 = 3900

Required percentage = \(\frac{2550}{3900}\) × 100 = 65.38%

Statement I is not correct.

II. The average production of bike and truck by companies R is 800.

= \(\frac{900 + 700}{2}\)  = 800

Statement II is correct.

Ans:- Only I
