Question:
Amisha is a science student pursuing her M.PHIL and stays in USA. She recently read in one of the leading newspapers about the rising air pollution in Delhi. She further explored about the situation by going through various websites and established a few facts. She understood that  Air Pollution in Delhi (mostly during winters) is attributed to crop residue burning in nearby states of Punjab-Haryana etc. In the recent years, Delhi has been choking with extremely hazardous levels of air pollution causing grave health concerns. The farmers are also devoid of any cost-effective alternatives and therefore burn the rice straw in their fields. Based on her understanding she decided to come to her home country and set up a Lab with a few friends. The startup incubated at TBIU-IIT Delhi, and after conversing to a few of her scientist friends she absorbed and mull about what she read, heard and observed and thus she along with her friends, developed a process to convert such agro-waste into pulp. This pulp can be used to make bioethanol, paper, tablewares and also helps the farmers generate profits from their waste instead of burning it off. Identify and explain the way(s) of trend identification by Amisha which has helped her to understand the market and produce goods accordingly.

Think Trends
Correct Answer:
Think Trends
Explanation:
Think trends: As an entrepreneur begins gathering all these information regularly, they will start to develop a “trend-spotter mind.” As they absorb and mull about what they’ve read, heard and observed, they’ll start to make connections and observations that will lead to business-boosting insights. The news about rising shrimp prices, the lines out the door at the Asian-fusion restaurant downtown, and something one of the customers said last week will all come together and they’ll have a great idea for a new menu item, a new product line or even a whole new business.
