The breadth of rectangle is 14 cm

We know that,

 (hypotenuse)²=(Base)²+( Length)²

= Diagonal = hypotenuse = 50 cm

= Breadth = Base = b = 14 cm

= Length = l

According to the Pythagorean theorem =

(50)²=(14)²+ (Length)²

2500 = 196 + (Length)²

2304 = (Length)²

Length = 48

Area of the rectangle = length × breadth

 = 48 × 14 = 672 cm²
