Correct Answer:

12.5% more

Explanation:

Number of men in 2003 = \(\frac{9 }{17}\) × 136   = 72

Number of women in 2003 = \(\frac{8 }{17}\) × 136 = 64

Number of men in 2003 is more than number of women in 2003 by 72 - 64 = 8

Required percentage = \(\frac{72-64 }{64}\) × 100

= \(\frac{1 }{8}\) × 100

= 12.5%
