Correct Answer:

(a) i, (b) ii, (c) iii

Explanation:

Three traits were categorised by Allport viz, cardinal, central, and secondary.

Raymond Cattell made an effort to identify the fundamental traits of an individual. He employed a statistical method known as factor analysis to uncover shared underlying structures. Through this process, he identified 16 primary or source traits, which are regarded as stable and serve as the building blocks of personality.

H.J. Eysenck suggested that personality could be simplified into two broad dimensions. (1) Neuroticism vs. emotional stability (2) Extraversion vs. introversion. Later Eysenck proposed a third dimension, called Psychoticism vs. Sociability, which is considered to interact with the other two dimensions mentioned above.
