Ibrahim Lodi was the third and last sultan of the Lodi dynasty, reigning from 1517 to 1526. He was defeated and killed by the Mughal emperor Babur in the First Battle of Panipat in 1526, which marked the end of the Lodi dynasty and the beginning of the Mughal Empire.
