Question:

If sin (\(\frac{π}{2}\) - 3θ) = \(\frac{1}{2}\)  , the value of tan6θ is?

Options:

\(\frac{1}{2}\)

 \(\sqrt {3 }\)

1

0

Correct Answer:

 \(\sqrt {3 }\)

Explanation:

sin (\(\frac{π}{2}\) - 3θ) = \(\frac{1}{2}\)

⇒ sin (\(\frac{π}{2}\) - 3θ) = sin 60°

⇒ 90 - 3θ = 60°

⇒ 3θ = 30 ⇒  θ = 10°

tan 6θ = tan 60° =  \(\sqrt {3 }\)
