Question:

The volume of a cuboid is 3300 cm3. The sum of the length and the breadth of the cuboid is 37 cm. If the difference between the length and the breadth of the cuboid is 13 cm, then what is the height of the cuboid ?

Options:

18 cm

11 cm

14 cm

16 cm

Correct Answer:

11 cm

Explanation:

We have,

The volume of a cuboid = 3300 cm3

Length + Breadth = 37

Length - Breadth = 13

= 2Length = 50

= Length = 25

So, breadth = 12

Now, 3300 = 25 × 12 × h

3300 = 300h

h = 11
