Question:

If A% of B is 100 and B% of C is 200, find a relation between A and C.

Options:

C=A/2

C=2A

A=C/4

C=4A

Correct Answer:

C=2A

Explanation:

According to the question:

\(\frac{AB }{100 }\) = 100

\(\frac{BC }{100 }\) = 200

We can say that - AB = 100 and BC = 200 (eliminating 100 as it is common)

Now, if we assume B = 100 so, A = 1 and C = 2

Thus, the relation between A and C comes out to be C = 2A [2 = 2(1)]
