In △ABC, right-angled at B, AB = 7 cm and AC - BC = 1 cm. Find the value of sin C.

Options:

$\frac{3}{7}$

Correct Answer:

$\frac{7}{25}$

Explanation:

by pythagoras theorem

72 + x2 = ( x + 1 )2

49 +x2  = x2 + 1 + 2x 

x = 24

So , BC = 24 & AC = 25

Now , sinC = \(\frac{P}{H}\)  = \(\frac{7}{25}\)
