10 person went to a hotel for taking their meal. 9 of them spent ₹20 each on their meals and the 10th person spent ₹27 more then the average expenditure of all of them. What was the total money spent by all of them?

Let the average expenditure = A

Total expenditure of 9 person = 20 × 9 = 180

Expenditure of 6th person = A + 27

Total expenditure of all person = 10 × A = 10A

ATQ,

180 + (A + 27) = 10A

A + 207= 10A

9A = 207

A = 23 

Total expenditure = 10 × 23 = Rs. 230
