Question:

Let $f(x)=\frac{4^x}{4^x+2}$ Then $f(x)+f(1-x)$ is equal to

Options:

0

1

-1

None of these

Correct Answer:

1

Explanation:

$f(x)=\frac{4^x}{4^x+2}$

$f(1-x)=\frac{4^{1-x}}{4^{1-x}+2}=\frac{4/4^x}{4/4^x+2}=\frac{4}{4+2×4^x}$

$f(1-x)=\frac{2}{2+4x}$

so $f(x)+f(1-x)=\frac{4^x+2}{4^x+2}=1$
